Remove spacers

– Check the wheel bearing for damage and wear.
» If the wheel bearing is damaged or worn:
– Change the rear wheel bearing.

Clean and grease the shaft seal rings
and mating surfaces
of the spacers.
Long-life grease ( p. 198)
– Insert the spacers.

Clean the thread of the wheel spindle and nut
.
– Clean the mating surfaces of the brake caliper support and swingarm.
– Position the rear wheel.
The brake linings are correctly positioned.
– Push the rear wheel as far forward as possible and place the chain on the rear
sprocket.
