Star ting the engine
Always follow the proper starting procedure
described here and on the following pages.
OPERATION
CAUTION
To protect the catalytic converter in the
engine's exhaust muffler, avoid idling
too long and do not use leaded gasoline.
CAUTION
To prevent damage to the starter motor,
do not operate the starter motor for more
than 5 seconds at a time. If you fail to
start successfully, check the fuel level
and the battery condition, and waiting for
15 seconds between each fail to start.
1. Position the scooter by the center stand
and put the side stand up.
2. Insert the ignition key and turn it to “ ”
