Emergency Alert Settings
From the Idle screen, press the Center soft key [Menu] > Settings & tools >
Settings > Wireless & networks > Wireless emergency alerts.
Press the Left soft key [Settings].
Configure the settings for the types of alerts you want to receive, such as Extreme Alert,
and for Cellbroadcast and Notification.
Note: Presidential is always grayed out (not selectable) and cannot be disabled.
Tip: For more information about Emergency Alerts, press the Left soft key [Help].
Accessibility
The Accessibility menu lets you enable and manage accessibility-related features.
Readout
Readout allows you to hear voice prompts and spoken numbers or key names as you press a
key, and also to hear menus and options, Contacts names, email addresses, URLs, etc., as you
highlight each item on-screen. (The default setting is
Off
.)
Turn On Readout
From the Idle screen, press the Center soft key
[Menu]

and press the Center soft key

Note:
When the media volume is set to
OFF
, Voice readout does not work.
Speech Rate
You can adjust the rate at which on-screen text is spoken by the phone.

Press the Center soft key
[Set]

Speech Pitch
