Thissectionprovidesinstructionsonhowtoinstallorreplaceamemorymodule.
YourcomputerhastwoslotsforinstallingorreplacingDDR3UDIMMsthatprovideuptoamaximumof8
GBsystemmemory.Wheninstallingorreplacingamemorymodule,use1GB,2GB,or4GBDDR3
UDIMMsinanycombinationuptoamaximumof8GB.
Toinstallorreplaceamemorymodule,dothefollowing:
1.Turnoffthecomputeranddisconnectallpowercordsfromelectricaloutlets.
2.Removethecomputercover.See“Removingthecomputercover”onpage35.
