EnsurethatyouusetheUSB-Ctypeacpoweradapterthatisshippedwiththecomputertoprovideenough
powertothecomputer.
TochecktheUSB-Ctypeacpoweradapter,dothefollowing:
1.Connectthecomputertoapoweroutletandturnonthecomputer.
2.ChecktheadapterstatusfromthefollowingLenovoprograms:
•ForWindows10:OpentheLenovoSettingsprogramandclickPower.
•ForWindows7:OpenthePowerManagerprogramandclickBattery.
IftheUSB-Ctypeacpoweradapterisworkingwell,adapterinformationwillbedisplayedonthescreen.
Ifamessageisdisplayedwarningthatthepowersupplyisnotenough,replacetheadapterwitha
properonethatissupportedbythecomputer.Ifyoudonotseeanyinformationabouttheadapter,
replacetheadapterwithanewone.

systems.Ifanunauthorizedbatteryorabatterydesignedforanothersystemsisinstalled,thesystemwill
notcharge.

yourcomputerbeforeyoumustchargethebattery.
Note:Iftheremovablebatterybecomeshot,itmaynotbeabletocharge.Removeitfromthecomputerand
leaveitatroomtemperatureforawhile.Afteritcoolsdown,reinstallandrechargeit.
Tochecktheremovablebattery,dothefollowing:
1.Turnoffthecomputer.
2.Removetheremovablebatteryandmeasurethevoltagebetweenbatteryterminals1(+)and7(-).
