independentlyoftheoperatingsystem.YoualsocaninstalltheMegaRAIDStorageManagerprogramand
theMegaCLIConfigurationUtilityprogramtohelpyoumanagetheRAIDarrayandRAIDcontrollerin
anoperatingsystemenvironment.ThesupportedRAIDlevelsareRAID0,1,and10bydefault.Forthe
ThinkServerRAID500Adapter,toactivateRAID5level,youneedtoinstallaRAID5keyontheRAIDcard.

1.UseharddiskdrivesthathavethesamecapacitywithinasingleRAIDarray.
2.Useharddiskdrivesthatareofthesametype(SATAorSAS)withinasingleRAIDarray.
3.Dependingontheoperatingsystem,theprimaryRAIDmightbelimitedto2TBtotaldrivecapacity.
