Establishing an online connection via PROFINET with the Lenze »Engineer«

In the »Engineer« via the menu command Online Set communication path and go online, you can
select the PROFINET communication path. The PROFINET nodes previously configured are shown in
the Communication path dialog window:
If the device access path is not configured correctly, the IP address of the inverter selected in the
display field can be entered manually here.
Via Search/Enter you can establish a connection to devices which have not appeared in the dis-
play field. Corresponding settings for this can be made in the dialog window Enter IP address, which
is shown:
Here you can enter an IP address manually or execute the following actions using the buttons:
• Execute the console command Ping.
• Assign the IP address via the Configurator.

• Select the device access path to the desired inverter by clicking Find.
After having established the online connection, you can continue work with the »Engineer« as usu-
al.
