8.2 TROUBLESHOOTING - ERROR CODES
CHAPTER 8: TROUBLESHOOTING
ERROR CODE DESCRIPTION CLASS LEVEL SOLUTIONS
0x0140 Incline motor fail. B 1. Reconnect the incline motor.
2. Check the incline motor connection to
the elevation rack.
3. Replace the incline motor.
0x0141 Motor over temperature. B 1. Check the amp draw of the treadmill
with a load. Change the deck or running
belt if a high amp draw is present.
2. Adjust the tension of the running belt
if needed.
3. Make sure that the base frame fan is
running.
4. Replace the motor.
0x01A0 Incline motor is disconnected. C 1. Reconnect the incline motor.
2. Check the incline motor connection to
the elevation rack.
3. Replace the incline motor.
0x01A8 Motor is over current. C 1. Check the amp draw of the treadmill
with a load. Change the deck or running
belt if a high amp draw is present.
2. Adjust the tension of the running belt
if needed.
3. Make sure that the base frame fan is
running.
4. Replace the motor.
0x02A0 Speed sensor disconnected or
failed
C 1. Reconnect the speed sensor to the
LCB.
2. Clean the speed sensor and optic
disc.
3. Replace the speed sensor.
4. Replace the LCB.
0x02AA Motor over limited current. C 1. Reconnect the speed sensor to the
LCB.
2. Clean the speed sensor and optic
disc.
3. Replace the speed sensor.
4. Replace the LCB.
0x04A0 No communication between the
console and the motor control
board.
C 1. Check the console cable for pinches
or cuts. Replace if necessary.
2. Replace the console.
3. Replace the LCB.
