Check that the finger guard is
functioning properly.
The finger guard is a safety feature and
should always be checked before using
the ironer.
^
With the ironer switched on, press the
foot pedal right down. The heater
plate will lower itself onto the rotating
roller.
^ If you now lift the finger guard, the
roller will stop rotating and the heater
plate will rise up away from the roller.
^
Let go of the finger guard and take
your foot off the foot pedal.
^
Press the foot pedal right down
again. The heater plate will lower
itself onto the rotating roller.
