The drum door cannot be opened by pressing the a button
Possible cause Remedy
There is no power to the
machine.
Check whether
–
the machine is switched on.
–
the electricity supply to the machine is switched
on.
–
the fuse or circuit breaker has tripped.
Power cut. Open the drum door as described in the next
section.
The door was not
correctly engaged.
Press hard against the lock side of the drum door
and then press the a button.
There is still water in the
drum and the machine is
unable to drain.
The drainage system may be blocked. Clean the
drainage system as described in the next section.
For safety reasons the drum door cannot be opened if the suds temperature is
higher than 50°C.
To continue a programme after an interruption to the power
supply
Possible cause Remedy
Power cut.

Once power has been restored, switch the
washing machine on with the K button to continue
the programme.

Confirm the message shown in the display, and
then press the Start button. The programme will
then continue with the next programme stage.
The machine has been
switched off and then
back on again with the
K button.
