Many malfunctions and faults that can occur in daily operation can be easily
remedied. Time and money will be saved because a service call will not be
needed.
The following guide may help you to find the reason for a malfunction or a fault,
and to correct it.
The display indicates the following messages or faults
Message Cause and remedy
000 lights up after
switching on.
Access via a code has been activated.
Enter the code and confirm the entry. Deactivate
the code if you do not wish this message to ap-
pear in the display the next time the machine is
switched on.
Finish/Cooling down The laundry will be cooled down at the end of the
programme.
Either remove the laundry and spread it out to cool
down or leave it in the tumble dryer to cool down
during the cooling phase.
Fault F. If restart
fails, call Service.
lights up after a
programme has
been cancelled.
There is no obvious cause.
Switch the tumble dryer off and then on again.
Start a programme.
If the programme terminates again with the same er-
ror message, then there is a fault. Contact Miele Ser-
vice.
Fill the condensate
container with water
This is to remind you that water is taken from the
condensed water container when the Steam care pro-
gramme is being used. The condensed water con-
tainer must be filled with water to at least the –min–
marker.
Fill the condensed water container as described
under “Condensed water container”.
To switch off the message:
Confirm with OK.
Please open and
close the door
This is to remind you to load the laundry when the
Steam care programme is selected.
Load the laundry in the drum.
