External condensed water out‐
let
Notes
When drying is in progress, con‐
densed
water is pumped into the con‐
densed water container through the
drain hose which is located at the
back of the dryer.
The condensed water can also be
drained away via the drain hose so that
the condensed water container does
not have to be emptied.
Drain hose length: 1.60 m
Maximu
m delivery head: 1.50 m
Maximum drain hose length: 4.00 m
The following optional accessories
ar
e available:
an extension hose,
a non-return valve kit for connection
t
o an external water outlet. The kit in‐
cludes an extension hose.
Installation conditions requiring a
non
-return valve
There is a risk of back-flow into
the dryer if a non-return valve is not
fitted.
Back-flow could damage the dryer
and also
the room in which it is loca‐
ted.
Certain installation conditions, such
as those
described below, require
the fitting of a non-return valve.
Maximum delivery head with non-return
valve fitted: 1.00 m
Installation conditions requiring the fit‐
ting of a non-return valve:
Drainage into a sink or floor gully
wher
e the end of the hose is im‐
mersed in water.
Connection to a sink drain outlet.
Connection to a drainage system al‐
r
eady in use by another appliance,
e.g. a dishwasher or washing ma‐
chine.
The non-
return valve has to be
fitted with the arrow pointing in the
direction of flow.
Otherwise water will not drain out of
the appliance.
