REMOVAL SERVICE POINTS

GLOW PLUG REMOVAL
(1) When removing the glow plug, you may loosen using
a tool up to the point where on e or more threads are
left in engagement. Beyond this point, loosen with fingers.
Caution
D
Do not reuse a glow plug that has been dropped
from a height of 10 cm or more.
INSTALLATION SERVICE POINTS

GLOW PLUG INSTALLATION
(1) When installing the glow plug, screw in one thread or
more with fingers and then tighten with a tool.

Do not reuse a glow plug that has been dropped
from a height of 10 cm or more.
INSPECTION
GLOW PLUG
(1) Check the glow plugs for continuity between the terminal
and the body as shown. Replace the glow plugs which
show no continuity or too large a resistance.
Standard value: 0.5
