Stowing the Motor
1. Pull up the release handle and then, holding the shaft or top housing,
lift the motor up.

2. While lifting the motor out of the
water, rotate the shaft until the
lower unit is aligned with the locking
cradle.

3. Continue to pull the
lower unit up to the
mount until the
lower unit can be
snapped into the
cradle.

Push Down on the Column to
lock the Release Handle
4. Push down on the column to lock the cradle and
to lock the release handle. You will hear a click
when the lower unit and release handle are
locked into position.
