36 Using your Answering Machine
9.4 Delete all messages
1. Press M, scroll u or d to Answ Machine and press M.
2. Scroll
d to Delete All and press M.
3. Display shows
Conrm? . Press M to conrm.
4. Press
e to return to standby.
9.5 Record a memo
You can record a memo which is stored on your answering machine is played back like a
normal message.
1. Press
M, scroll u or d to Answ Machine and press M.
2. Scroll
d to Record Memo and press M. Display shows Recording .
3. Speak your message. Press
M to end recording.
4. Press
e to return to standby.
9.6 Outgoing messages
This is the message your callers hear when the answering machine is enabled. There are
two pre-recorded outgoing messages, or you can record your own.
9.6.1 Record also (Answer and record)
The caller can leave a message. The pre-recorded message is “Hello, your call cannot be
taken at the moment, so please leave your message after the tone.”
9.6.2 Answer Only
The caller can listen to your announcement but cannot leave a message. The pre-recorded
message is “Hello, your call cannot be taken at the moment, and you cannot leave a
message, so please call later.”
9.6.3 Set answer mode
Set your machine to Answer & Record or Answer Only.
1. Press
M, scroll u or d to Answ Machine and press M.
2. Scroll
d to Answer Mode and press M.
- The current answer mode is displayed.
3. Scroll
u or d to select Record also or Answer only and press M.
4. Scroll
u or d to display the message type you want: Personalized to set your own
recorded message or
Predened for the pre-recorded message.
5. Press
M to conrm.
