Reset to Factory Defaults
Reset to Factory Defaults will set back all radio
features to the original factory default settings.
To do so press PTT, SB2 and SB1
simultaneously while turning ON the radio until
you hear a high tone chirp.
End of Transmission Tone (Roger Beep
Tone)
This setting is set to OFF by default (*).
Keypad Beeps
Keypad Beeps can be enabled/disabled by
short pressing SB2 button (until radio ‘chirps’)
while turning ON the radio.
Keypad Lock/Unlock
You can lock the keypad to avoid accidentally
changing your radio settings. Press and hold
MENU for 4 seconds to lock the radio keypad
or until the lock icon appears on the radio
display. To unlock, press MENU for 4 seconds
or until the lock icon disappears from the radio
display.
Note: The only buttons that cannot be locked
using this feature are the PTT button and
Button A (if Call Tone feature has been
assigned).
MENU Options
There are no MENU options available for
RDM2070d (*).
