6.2.2 Fuse
1. Turn off the gas supply to the unit.
2. Disconnect the unit from the power supply.
3. Locate the fuse housing shown in the figure below. Open
the housing to expose the fuse.

4. Replace the fuse with a new fuse that is 5 mm in diameter,
25 mm long, and 3.12 amps.
5. Ensure that the new fuse is of an equivalent rating and that
it is properly fixed inside the housing.
6. Close the fuse housing.
7. Turn on water supply, power supply, and gas supply to the
unit.
10. Turn on the water and gas supplies, then reconnect the
power supply to the unit.
Note
●
All wiring harness connections to the PCB should
match in colour and pin types. Do not use
excessive force when removing the connectors as
this may cause damage to the PCB.
●
After replacing the controller, be sure to run the
setup wizard and change to the existing setting.
11. When the boiler is turned on, press the Back button (
)
and the Menu button (
) simultaneously for 3 seconds, and
then select “3. Parameter Settings”.
On the password screen, press the Up button ( ) and the
Down button (
) to change numbers and places, and press
the OK button (
) to enter the password.
The factory default password is “1234”.
12. After entering the parameter setting screen, press the Up
button (
) or the Down button ( ) to select “32. Factory
Reset” and press the OK button (
) to proceed with the
factory reset.
13. After the factory reset is completed, the setup wizard
appears and set the following.
●
Time setting: Set the current time. YYYY:MM:HH:MM:SS
●
Gas type selection: Select LNG(G20).
●
Select the Heat demand: Select 3. Switched Live. To use
Smart Plus, select 1. Navien Thermostat.
Note
If heating does not work even after installing the
existing thermostat for heating adjustment after
selecting “3. Switched Live”, check the wire
connection to the controller terminal block again
(Connect the thermostat to 5 and 6).
