6. Engine and Accessories
MAJOR ENGINE SERVICE
WARNING
Accidental or remote starting can
cause severe personal injury or death. Before
removing an access door or belt guard, discon-
nect the negative (−) cable at the battery to pre-
vent the engine from starting.
See the Engine Workshop Manual (Table 6-1) for
major engine service procedures. See Specifica-
tions (Section 10) in this manual to identify the en-
gine model number for the genset.
When remounting the engine torque the vibration
isolator through bolts to 27-33 lb-ft (37-44.7 N-m).
