Getting to Know the Compact Disc Player

Use this button to set the compact disc player to On or
Standby.
b Standby LED (➔ 21)
Lights when the compact disc player is in Standby
mode.
c Remote control sensor (➔ 10)
The sensor receives control signals from the remote
controller.

e Disc tray (➔ 22)
Insert discs into this tray.
f 0 button (➔ 22)
Opens and closes the disc tray.
g 3 button (➔ 22)
Use this button to pause disc playback. When paused,
this resumes playback.
h 2 button (➔ 22)
Use this button to stop disc playback.
i 1 button (➔ 22)
Use this button to play the disc.
j OUTPUT MODE button (➔ 32)
Use this button to switch the audio output signal
between analog and digital (or both).
k POWER switch (➔ 21)
This is the main power switch. When set to the OFF
position (@), the compact disc player is completely
shutdown. It must be set to the ON position (^) to set
the compact disc player to On or Standby.
l Display Off LED (➔ 24)
Lights when the display is turned off.
Before entering standby mode with the ASb function,
the Display Off LED flashes 30 seconds before the
ASb function starts running.
m 7 button (➔ 22)
Use this button to skip to the beginning of the track
being played. Press and hold down to fast reverse.
n 6 button (➔ 22)
Use this button to skip to the beginning of the next
track. Press and hold down to fast forward.
