@ MEMORY button (42)
This button is used when storing or deleting radio
presets.
@ TUNING MODE button (41)
This button is used to select the Auto or Manual tun-
ingmode.
@ ArrowlTUNINGlPRESET & ENTER buttons
(51,53-56)
When the AM or FM input source is selected, the
TUNING [A] [T] buttons are used to tune the
tuner, and the
PRESET [ ..... ] [~] buttons are used
to select radio presets (see pages 41, 42). When the
setup menus are used, they work as arrow buttons
and are used to select and set items. The ENTER
button is also used with the setup menus.
@ MASTER VOLUME control (39)
This control is used to adjust the volume of the AV
receiver.
@ PHONES jack (45)
This 114-inch phone jack is for connecting a stan-
dard pair of stereo headphones for private listening.
@ SPEAKERS A & B buttons (39)
These buttons are used to turn speaker sets A and B
on or off.
@ TONE, [-] & [+] buttons (45)
These buttons are used to adjust the bass and treble.
@ Input selector buttons (38-40)
These buttons are used to select from the following
input sources: MULTI CH, DVD, VIDEO INCR,
VIDEO 2, VIDEO 3, TAPE, TUNER, or CD.
The [MULTI CH] button selects the DVD analog
multichannel input.
@) RETURN button (51, 53, 54, 56)
This button is used to return to the previously dis-
played setup menu.
@) SETUP button (51, 53-56)
This button is used to access various settings.

IJJ A & B speaker indicators (20, 39)
IndicatorA lights up when speaker set A is on. Indi-
cator B lights up when speaker set B is on.
[I] MUTIN~ indicator (46)
This indicator flashes when the AV receiver is
muted.
WSource/listening mode indicators (50, 57)
These indicators s~ow the currently selected listen-
ing mode and digital audio format.
I1J Tuning indicators
TUNED (41):
This indicator lights up when the AV
receiver is tuned to a radio station.
AUTO (41): This indicator lights up when Auto
Thning is selected
and disappears when Manual
Thning is selected.
RDS (European model only) (43): This indica-
tor lights up when the AV Receiver is tuned to a
radio station that supports RDS (Radio Data Sys-
tem).
MEMORY (42): This indicator lights up when pre-
setting radio stations.
FM STEREO (41): This indicator lights up when
the AV recejver is tuned to a stereo FM station.
rn SLEEP indicator (46)
This indicator lights up when the Sleep function has
been set.
