tape
deck

the
recording

three-head
tape
deck

used

recording,
the
sound
actually
being
recorded
can
be
listened
to
check
the
tone
and
recording
levels.
This
is
called
‘monitoring’
the
sound,
When
monitoring
a
recording,
set
the
tape
monitor
switch
to
match
the
tape
deck
being
used
to
perform
the
recording.

Set
to
