The male sealed RJ45 connector is a Genesis Technology WAPV-100-AKY0T which includes so plugs to fit
two different ranges of cable diameter. This section will refer to the connector as just “WAPV”.
E.1 Parts of the Male Sealed RJ45 Ethernet Connector
The following image shows the parts of the WAPV male connector in the same order they are assembled
on an unterminated Ethernet cable. Rajant recommends using shielded CAT5e or CAT6 cable. Any lower
quality of cable may not support full Ethernet speed.

Only one so plug is used when building the connector. Measure the diameter of your Ethernet cable and
choose the one that is correct for that diameter. This is important for getting a sealed connection.
