Securingthepedestaltothemountingplatform
Beforemountingtheunit,ensurethatyouhave:
Selectedasuitablelocation.
Identiedthecableconnectionsandroutethatthecableswilltake.
Preparedsuitableliftingequipmentforxingthepedestaltothe
mountingplatform.Thedigitalradarweighsintotal(withantenna
tted):
48"Radar-25kg(55.1lb)
72"Radar-29kg(63.9lb)
Forsafetyreasonsitisrecommendedthattheunitisnotliftedby
oneperson.Theunitissuppliedwithliftingeyes(maximumSafe
WorkingLoad(SWL)=40kg)tofacilitatetheuseofstandard
liftingaccessories,suchasarope,chainorstrop.TheSWLof
theliftingaccessoriesshouldbeaminimumof150kg.Suitable
liftingequipmentcouldincludeacrane,hoist,oranappropriate
rigidoverheadstructure.DoNOTattachtheantennatothe
pedestalpriortolifting.
Note:DoNOTconnectanycablesuntilthefollowingstepshave
beencompleted.
1.Checktheselectedlocation.Aclear,atplatformisrequired
formountingthepedestalunit.
2.Fixthesuppliedmountingtemplatetotheplatform,using
maskingorself-adhesivetape.
