Using the
Optional
RCA DC Car Cord Adapter
The optional
RLA
DCCO7
DC car cord allows you to power
your
camcorde
truck, or RV.

Make sure t e camcorder’s power is turned off. Slide the
POWER SW tch to turn off the camcorder. The POWER
indicator wi I turn off.
Attach the p wer connector as shown above.
Take the ve icle’s cigarette lighter out of the socket.
Start the ve

icle’s engine.
Caution:
!I
prevent blowing the fuse in the car cord’s plug,
be sure to
s
rt the vehicle’s engine before inserting the plug
into the cig
rette
lighter socket. If it becomes necessary to
replace the

ar cord’s fuse, be sure to use a replacement fuse
with the exact current rating (amps).

Insert the car cord’s cigarette lighter plug into the vehicle’s
cigarette lighter’s socket. The POWER indicator on the car
cord adapter should light.
Slide the camcorder’s POWER switch to turn on the
camcorder. The POWER indicator will light.
