SYMPTOM
The side fence cannot slide smoothly.
CAUSE
Paper dust gets on the surface of the slide shaft and inside the bearings.
SOLUTION
Do the PROCEDURE below every 900K pages (PM cycle).
PROCEDURE
1. Clean the shaft of the side fence with a cloth as shown.
Important: If you cannot clean off all the dust and foreign material with the cloth, use a
vacuum cleaner.
