To change settings for the A-88, you need to be in FUNCTION mode.
The following parameters are common to both the UPPER and LOWER parts; they cannot be set
individually.

When you play the A-88’s keyboard, the transmitted
note message will include a velocity value (volume
data) corresponding to the force of your strike.
The VELO CURVE setting lets you choose the curve by
which the velocity value will change.
