Recording a Rhythm Pattern
03
The FA lets you play patterns just like when you’re using a rhythm machine. In the following
example, we’ll select a rhythm pattern and drum sound, and record on the sequencer. We’ll
also explain how to change the tempo.
A rich selection of production-ready drum sounds
Let’s audition various drum sounds by switching drum kits while a rhythm pattern plays.
Notice that dierent drum sounds can make the same rhythm pattern feel dierent.
The FA contains numerous production-ready PCM drum kit sounds. Having a good selection of drum sounds is
an important aspect of coming up with creative ideas for songs.
