10.1 What is Dynamic DNS (DDNS)?
Dynamic DNS is a service that lets anyone on the Internet gain access to resources on a local network when
the Internet address of that network is constantly changing. Such resources are typically a Web server, Webcam
or a PC for remote control operation.
10.2 Which DDNS service providers are available for Reyee EW series
devices?
Reyee EW series devices supports No-IP DNS and DynDNS.
10.3 What scenarios DDNS are used in?
Access to intranet servers or cameras via domain name.
(1) Configure DDNS on Reyee EW series devices.
Mobile Phone View: Choose More > Switch to PC view > More > Advanced > Dynamic DNS > Dynamic
DNS.
PC View: Choose More > Advanced > Dynamic DNS > Dynamic DNS.
(2) Configure port mapping on Reyee EW series devices which can map certain TCP/UDP ports to the
corresponding ports on the intranet device.
Mobile Phone View: Choose More > Switch to PC view > More > Advanced > Port Mapping.
PC View: Choose More > Advanced > Port Mapping.
