Lock System Setup
Making use of Lock System you can protect some TV settings from being
accidentally changed.

Navigate to the Lock menu and input the correct password to
access.
Now the Lock System item will be highlighted automatically.

Use 3or4to turn on or turn off the Lock System.
Once you turn on Lock System, all items in Channel Menu can not be
accessed by the user without the correct password. To cancel, use
password to enter into Lock Menu and set Lock System item to
OFF. Also, if you want to release Block Programme and Parental
Guidance setting, you can set Lock System item to OFF.

Parental Guidance Setup (DTV only)

Navigate to the Lock menu and input the correct password to
access.
Parental Guidance blocks programs according to their classification so that
children can not view certain programs.

Press 5or6 to highlight the Parental Guidance item.

Use3or4to select your desired rating.

Press MENU to return to previous menu. Press EXIT to exit the
menu screen directly.

Now the Lock System item will be highlighted automatically. Use
3or4to turn on the Lock System.

Running this function to reset all settings to its original factory condition.

Navigate to the Lock menu and input the correct password to
access.
Press 5or6to select the Restore Factory Default item, press 4
or OK to activate the function.

Now the screen will display a dialog box for you to confirm your
operation. Use 3or4to toggle between YES or NO item, and
press OK to confirm your operation.

Note
! This function will clear most of your customized settings. So make sure you do want to reset the settings to its original
factory condition before you perform this operation.

Press 5or6to select the Allow Update item, press 4 or
OK to access the submenu.

Now the Activate item will be highlighted automatically,
press 3or4to select On. (if you want to cancel setting,
please choose Off)

Press 5or6to select Hour or Minute item, and press 3or4to adjust the value.
When finished, use 5or6to select Close and press OK to confirm the setting.
When the TV is in standby mode, the TV will automatically work at
the preset time and detect OTA, then start system update.
Note
! The Hour and Minute can be set only after the Activate item will set to On.
