10-2. Freeze Prevention

This function prevents freezing of the indoor heat exchange coil.
●
When the temperature of the indoor heat exchange coil falls below 32°F, the compressor stops operation. The
compressor does not start again until the temperature rises above 50°F.
(*) Actual compressor OFF time indicated by "3 minutes" varies between 2 minutes 45 seconds to 4 minutes.
10-3. Freeze Protection
●
This function prevents the temperature within the room from dropping below freezing.
●
When the room temperature falls below 46.4°F, the electric heater comes ON to keep the room temperature
above freezing. This function always works at any operational mode even when the unit is OFF.
The following chart shows an example when the mode selector switch is at OFF position.
