6.5.4 Connecting the grounding via a grounding bolt







To connect the functional or protective grounding on devices with a screw-in grounding bolt,
follow these steps:
1. Place the toothed washer ① on the screw-in grounding bolt ② and tighten the grounding
bolt into the grounding connection thread on the device with a maximum torque of 2Nm.
2. Put the ground terminal ③, the washer ④ and the spring lock washer together ⑤ on the
grounding bolt as shown in the drawing.
3. Tighten the nut ⑥ with a maximum tightening torque of 0.5Nm.

Strain relief for the Ethernet cables
In order to avoid mechanical stress on the Ethernet cables and resulting interruption of the
contact, fasten the cables at a short distance from the connector using a cable guide or busbar.
