Clean the housing and the sole plate ■ 9 with a damp cloth. For stubborn
soiling use a mild detergent on the cloth.
Safety switch-off
This iron is equipped with a safety switch-off :

being moved.

6 signal tones sound prior to the automatic switch-off
. During the period when the
safety switch-off is active, the control lamp “Power” 5 blinks. The iron is re-activat-
ed once it has been moved.
NOTICE
Do not use the safety switch-off intentionally to take the iron out of service! ►
The safety switch-off is for emergencies only, should the instructions for closing
down be forgotten!
