Handling and operation
Pairing the speaker with a Bluetooth
®
device
NOTE
► If you want to pair the loudspeaker with a Bluetooth
®
device, the
3.5 mm jack socket w should not be occupied.
♦ Ensure that the speaker is switched off and the Bluetooth
®
device is
switched on.
♦ Set the Bluetooth
®
device so that it scans for other Bluetooth
®
devices. A detailed description of how to do this can be found in the
operating instructions for your Bluetooth
®
device.
♦ Press and hold the button 1 for about 3 seconds to switch the speaker
on. You will immediately hear a series of beeps, and the operating/
charging LED 9 will simultaneously flash blue and orange twice in a
row. The operating/charging LED 9 then flashes alternately orange
and blue. The Bluetooth
®
function is now activated automatically.
♦ Select the entry SLB10A1 from the list of found devices on your
Bluetooth
®
device and, if required, enter the code 0000 to connect
the two devices. You will hear a rising series of beeps, and the operating/
charging LED 9 will flash blue every 3seconds once the connection
has been successfully established.
♦ Start playback on the Bluetooth
®
device.
