Charging external devices
The radio alarm clock has a charging function that you can use to
charge the batteries of devices that are usually charged via a USB
connection. The maximum charging current is 1.0 A.
NOTE
► The USB connection
e is only intended for charging external
devices.
► The charging function is not available during radio operation.
To charge an external device via the USB connection
e, the
radio alarm clock must be in standby mode.
► The radio alarm clock must be connected to the mains to charge
external devices.
► You can purchase a suitable USB charging cable (not supplied)
in any consumer electronics shop.
♦ Insert the USB-A connector of the USB charging cable into the
USB connection
e of the radio alarm clock.
♦ Insert the other USB connector of the USB charging cable into the
USB connection of the external device.
♦ The external device will start charging after a few seconds.
♦ After charging the external device, disconnect the USB charging
cable from the USB connection
e to disconnect the devices.
