Step 2: Charging the battery pack
You can charge the “InfoLITHIUM”
battery pack (P series) (p. 78) after
attaching it to your camcorder.
For DCR-HC22E:
POWER
switch
DC plug
Handycam
Station
DC IN jack
AC Adaptor
To the wall socket
For DCR-HC17E/HC19E/HC21E:
POWER switch
DC IN jack
DC plug
AC Adaptor
To the wall socket
1 Attach the battery pack by sliding
it in the direction of the arrow
until it clicks.
2 Slide the POWER switch up to
OFF (CHG). (The default setting.)
3 Connect the AC Adaptor to the
DC IN jack on the Handycam
Station for the DCR-HC22E or on
your camcorder for the DCR-
HC17E/HC19E/HC21E.
For DCR-HC22E:
With the
mark facing up
DC IN jack
