Removing Your USB Wireless LAN
Module
When you are using Windows Me, 2000, or XP, perform the Windows
hardware removal procedure, as follows, before you remove the USB Wireless
LAN Module from your computer.
When you remove the USB Wireless LAN Module, you will lose your connection to the
network. Make sure you have closed all files and network applications prior to removing
the USB Wireless LAN Module.
1 Double-click the “Unplug or Eject Hardware” icon in the Windows
System Tray.
The Unplug or Eject Hardware dialog box appears.
2 Select the item corresponding to the USB Wireless LAN Module
from the device list.
3 Click the [Stop] button.
Now you can remove the USB Wireless LAN Module from the computer.
