Searching for songs by artist
The list of artists is displayed in alphabetical order, numerical order, or by some
other method.
Press and hold the BACK/HOME button until the Home menu
appears.
Press the /// button to select (Music Library), and then
press the button to conrm.
The list screen appears.
Press the /// button to select “Artist,” and then press the
button to conrm.
The artist list appears.
Press the /// button to select an artist, and then press the
button to conrm.
The album list for the selected artist appears.
Press the /// button to select an album, and then press the
button to conrm.
The song list for the selected album appears.
Press the /// button to select a song, and then press the
button to conrm.
The song you selected starts to play back and the playback of songs
continues in order.
Hints
If the artist name starts with “The (space)” or “The •,” the introductory “The (space)” or
“The •” is ignored in sorting the artist list by name.
You can play all songs of a list item by selecting the item from the list and pressing and
holding the button in steps

You can display only a cover art or change the display format of the album list (

50).
You can select the playback range of songs (
page 49).
