1.4 Unpacking, assembly
All STIGA machines undergo thorough inspection before delivery.
Machines are delivered as fully assembled as possible.
This means that nal assembly after delivery is quick and easy.
Attention!
The machine must stay on the pallet while it is being unpacked and assembled.
1.4.1 Assembly
For assembly instructions,

1.4.2 Battery
The battery is a valve-regulated one.
Install/remove the battery in accordance with the instructions provided in chapter 7

Valve-regulated battery
This type of battery requires minimum maintenance. It has no caps or electrolyte level
controls.
Warning!
Never wear metal rings, bracelets, necklaces or other similar jewellery when
working on batteries. They could create a short-circuit or re.
The battery must be fully charged before being used for the rst time. The
battery must be fully charged before being put into storage. Serious damage
may occur if the battery is put into storage at.
If the leads are disconnected/connected in the wrong order, there is a risk of
a short-circuit and damage to the battery.
Inverting the cables on the poles may damage the battery and the alternator.
The engine must never be used with the battery disconnected. This could
damage the alternator and the electrical system.
