: Hold the torsion spring (1) down
and engage it behind the
retaining lug (arrow).
Positioning the locking lever:
The grip (1) faces the compartment
opening, the retaining edge (2)
points into the battery compartment.
: Fit one locking lever pivot pin in
the bearing point (arrow).
Stop (1) outside the guide.
Both ends (2) of the torsion spring
face outwards.

: Carefully ease the bearing points
apart (arrows) and fit the second
pivot pin (1) in the second
bearing point (2).
: Engage the two ends (1) of the
torsion spring behind the
guides (2).
Check that both locking levers
move freely.
Reassemble all other parts in the
reverse sequence.

7.4 Spring
Removing
Remove the cover if necessary,
b 7.2
: Squeeze the spring (1) together,
disengage it from the retaining
lugs (2) and pull it out in the
direction of the compartment
opening.
Check the spring and replace it if
necessary
Installing
: Push the spring (1) inwards
between the guides (2) and fit it in
the retainer (3).
