Step 10
1) Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
2) Remove the right frame cover. (!GSF1200K6/SK6 9D-5)
3) Short the mode select coupler terminals (Orange – B/W)
using the special tool.
" 09930-82710: Mode select switch
4) Check for continuity between
C (Orange) and
N (B/W) at the
coupler.
( Tester knob indication: Continuity ())
Is there continuity between
C and
N?
YES Replace the ABS control unit/HU.
NO
Inspect the wire harness. (Faulty mode select
switch wire)
ABS control unit coupler (Harness end)
