• Remove the reservoir mounting bolt.

• Remove the ABS control unit/HU by removing the mounting
bolts.
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal. Pay attention to
the following points.
• Tighten the brake pipe flare nuts to the specified torque.
, Brake pipe flare nut: 16 N·m (1.6 kgf-m, 11.5 lb-ft)

• Bleed air from the brake fluid circuit.

COMBINATION METER
LED (LIGHT EMITTING DIODE) INSPECTION
• Check that the LEDs (ABS indicator light, Oil pressure indica-
tor light and meter panel illumination) immediately light up
when the ignition switch is turned to ON.
• Check that other LEDs (Neutral indicator light, High-beam
indicator light and Turn signal indicator lights) light up/go off
by operating each switch.
• If abnormal condition is found, replace the combination meter
unit with a new one after checking its wire harness/coupler.
* Route the brake hoses and pipes correctly.

* Make sure to hold the brake pipe when tightening the
flare nut, or it may be misaligned.
Never ride the motorcycle before bleeding the air.
