Recording operations
Recording from radio broadcasts
Preparation:
Advance the tape to a point from where recording can start im-
mediately.

ing inward.
Insert the cassette tape until it touches the back of the compart-
ment.
Press & OPEN/CLOSE once again to close the holder.
3 To record in Dolby B NR:
Press DOLBY NR and check “OQ” is displayed.
Press REV MODE to select the reverse mode.
==: Oneside will record, and then the tape will stop automat-
ically at the tape end.
=>: Both sides will record (forward side—reverse side), and
then the tape will stop automatically at the tape end.
cap: Same as above (When you press @ REC PAUSE, “c==>”
will be automatically switched over to “3"").
Tune in the desired station.
See page 13.

Press @ REC PAUSE to put the cassette deck
into the recording standby mode.
REC PAUSE indicator will light.

Press < or & to start recording.

To stop recording:
Press Mi.
To display the tape counter while recording:
Press DISPLAY.
The tape counter will be displayed for approximately 5 seconds. This
is a useful way for knowing what point of the tape you're at.
To cut an unnecessary part while recording:
1. Press @ REC PAUSE.
The cassette deck will go into the recording standby state.
2. Toresume recording, press <4 or ® , whichever playback indicator
is flashing.
