5 Error code E51
According to the list of error codes, error code E51 means that the overspeed governor has tripped.
This can have various causes. It is therefore important to find out under what conditions the problem
occurred. Therefore ask the user about the conditions when the problem occurred:
- What was the position of the stairlift?
- Was the stairlift going upwards or downwards?
- Who was sitting on the stairlift?
- What exactly happened?
- Was there a shock or did the stairlift quietly come to a halt?
Using the answers an indication can be given of the cause.
