Clutch
Afterevery400operatinghoursoryearly,cleanand
lubricatetheclutchasfollows:
1.Raiseandlatchthecargobox.
2.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andsettheparking
brake.
3.Removethe3boltssecuringthecovertotheclutch
andremovethecover(Figure46).

4.Thoroughlycleantheinsideofthecoverandthe
innerworkingsoftheclutchusingcompressedair.
Thedustintheclutchwillbecomeairborneand
coulddamageyoureyesoryoucouldinhaleit
causingbreathingdifculties.
Wearsafetygogglesandadustmaskorother
eyeandrespiratoryprotectionwhenperforming
thisprocedure.
5.Lubricatethemovingpartsintheareascircledin
Figure47usingToroDryLubricantSpray,available
throughyourAuthorizedToroDealerorDistributor.

6.Installtheclutchcoverandsecureitwiththe3bolts
removedpreviously.
ChangingtheTransaxleFluid
Changethetransaxleuidevery800operatinghoursor
yearly,whicheveroccursrst.
1.Positionthevehicleonalevelsurface,settheparking
brake,turntheignitionoff,andremovethekey.
2.Removethedrainplugfromtherightsideofthe
reservoir(Figure48)andlettheuidowintoa
drainpan.Installandtightentheplugwhentheuid
stopsdraining.
Note:Disposeoftheusedoilatacertiedrecycling
center.
