Relief Valve
The relief valve limits the water pressure to 5000 PSI.
On the 3000, the extra water is bled off through the roller wash circuit.
On the 4000 the extra water is returned to the water inlet circuit.
NOTE: There is a complete rebuild kit available to rebuild the valve.
Part number 86-8550.
Gear Box
An engine driven cam gearbox operates the cycling valve.
The gearbox has a cam mounted to the face of the gear, which actuates the spool and opens the valve,
releasing the high-pressure water.
The driven gear RPM is 320.
NOTE: The cam gearbox also serves as the oil reservoir for the hydrostatic transmission.
