4.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforallmoving

partstostopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.

Why won't my Toro Lawn Mower start?

  If your Toro Lawn Mower engine won't start, starts hard, or fails to keep running, several issues could be the cause. Ensure the fuel tank is full. If the choke is not on, move the choke lever to the 'On' position. A dirty air cleaner can also cause this issue, so clean or replace it. Check that the spark plug wire(s) is securely connected to the spark plug. Replace any spark plugs that are pitted, fouled, or have an incorrect gap with new, correctly gapped ones. Also, if the oil level in the crankcase is low, add oil.

  If the cutting height on your Toro Lawn Mower is uneven, consider these possible causes: dull blades (sharpen them), bent cutting blades (install new ones), or an unlevel mower (level it from side-to-side and front-to-rear). Check if an anti-scalp wheel is not set correctly and adjust its height. Clean the underside of the mower if it's dirty and adjust the tire pressure if it's incorrect.

  If your Toro Lawn Mower engine loses power, several factors could be responsible. An excessive engine load might be the cause, so reduce your ground speed. A dirty air cleaner can also lead to power loss, so clean it. Additionally, check the oil level in the crankcase and add oil if it's low. Make sure that the cooling fins and air passages under the engine blower housing are free of obstructions. Replace any spark plugs that are pitted, fouled, or have an incorrect gap with new, correctly gapped ones. Finally, if there is dirt in the fuel filter, replace the fuel filter.
