LevelingtheMowerDeck
Checktoensurethemowerdeckislevelanytimeyouinstall
themowerorwhenyouseeanunevencutonyourlawn.
Themowerdeckmustbecheckedforbentbladespriorto
leveling;anybentbladesmustberemovedandreplaced.Refer
totheCheckingforBentBlades(page39)beforecontinuing.
Themowerdeckmustbeleveledside-to-siderstthenthe
fronttorearslopecanbeadjusted.
Requirements:
•Themachinemustbeonalevelsurface.
•Allfourtiremustbeproperlyinated.RefertoChecking
theTirePressure(page35).
LevelingfromSidetoSide
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceanddisengagethe
blade-controlswitch.
2.Ensuretheparkingbrakeisengaged,stoptheengine,
removethekey,andwaitforallmovingpartstostop
beforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Settheheight-of-cutlevertomiddleposition.
4.Carefullyrotatetheblade(s)sothattheyareallside
toside(Figure54).
