3.Removethefuel-tankmountingnutsandswing
outthefueltank.
4.Keeptheoil-coolerfreeofdebrisbycleaningthe
nswithabrush.
5.Swingthefueltankinandsecureitwiththe
mountingnuts.
6.Backthemountingnutsoff1/2turntoallowfor
tankexpansion.

Every500hoursthereafter
Makesurethatthebrakeisadjustedproperly.Follow
thisprocedurewhenyouremoveorreplaceabrake
component.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,movethe
speed-controllevertotheNEUTRALposition,
disengagethePTO,andengagetheparking
brake.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
3.Releasetheparkingbrake.
4.Tilttheseatforward.
5.Checkandensurethatthereisnoslackbetween
theparking-brakehandleandthelinkage.
6.Ifanadjustmentisnecessary,removetheclevis
pinandrotatethelinkagecounterclockwiseto
lengthenitorclockwisetoshortenit.
