Getting started
Charging the battery
Your uDirect has an
internal, rechargeable
battery. To charge it, plug
in the charging cable,
then plug the other end
of the charging cable into
a power outlet.
Your uDirect will turn off automatically when a charger
is connected.
For safety reasons, recharge the battery only with
chargers supplied by Unitron.
During the charging process, the battery light will turn
orange. Once the battery is fully charged, the indicator
will turn green.
Charging an empty battery takes approximately 90
minutes. It is safe to leave the charger connected
overnight – the battery cannot be overcharged.
When charging your uDirect for the first time, allow it
to charge for at least 3 hours, even if the battery
light turns green after 90 minutes.
A new battery’s full performance is achieved only after
two or three complete charge and discharge cycles.
