Clearing blockages
Hose blockages
The exible hose may be disconnected from the
vacuum cleaner. Carefully remove any blockages
found and reconnect the hose securely.
Accessory blockages
Remove accessory from the hose. Carefully remove
the blockage and return to the cleaner.
Turn the lid of the dirt container anti-
clockwise to remove the lid. Then turn
the separator clockwise to remove
lter from the dirt container lid.
Cleaning the HEPA media lter
Remove the HEPA media central
lter from the separator.
To clean, tap the HEPA media lter
against a bin to remove excess dirt.
IMPORTANT: When washing
the HEPA media lter, water
temperature should not excess
40°C. Allow to dry completely
(at least 24 hours) before
reinserting into the machine)
IMPORTANT: It is very important to keep the fi lter clean to maintain maximum performance of the vacuum.
Vax recommends that your fi lter should be checked for cleanliness and cleaned accordingly after each use in
addition to being washed and replaced on a regular basis (every 3 months depending on the level of use).
Do not use detergent to clean the fi lters.
